The Cisco Transport Manager (CTM) Operation and Maintenance course enables the student to use the CTM network management system to manage a variety of Cisco optical networking products from the Cisco 15000 family. Working in small groups of up to three people per node, students complete a wide range of tasks covering many features and functions. They start with the installation procedures, followed by the user administration. The focus of the course is on the element management, covering the inventory, configuration, performance, security and fault management, including reporting. The course concludes with system administration and troubleshooting discussion.
