Cisco Express Foundation Specialization Enhancements
New Web-based Courses and Exams Available April 14, 2008
The Cisco® Express Foundation Specialization now introduces Smart Business Communication Systems content at the Premier Certification level. The additional content provides partners with entry-level knowledge of voice technology for the small and medium-sized business (SMB) market, which serves companies with fewer than 250 employees. Cisco Lifecycle Services content has also been included in the updated Express Foundation courses and exams, resulting in just one course and one exam for each of the account manager, systems engineer, and field engineer roles. This reduces the overall certification cost to partners by combining three exams for each role into one.
The updated Express Foundation courses and exams are available April 14, 2008 in a web- based format. The old courses will expire June 30, 2008, and the old exams will expire July 31, 2008. Effective August 1, 2008, all partners pursuing Cisco Premier Certification will be required to pass the new exams.
